Perfect item for any collection or Steampunk outfit for the airship captain or airship pirate, this fine reproduction is based upon the
1921 the Airship Pilot Badge (while it looks like a wing it was never officially called that) was introduced by the US Army. This is a very well made quality reproduction of that badge 3 inch. Not many of these badges were ever made and are missing from many collections after all how many Airship Captains were there. Actually there were about 150. Also it is interesting to note that least 6 know designs existed and maybe as many as 6 of this badge. The badge was abolished in 1940.
